What "Needs a look" means
The list on Home where Cranes tells you what it rearranged and checks with you instead of guessing.
Needs a look, on Home, is where Cranes tells you when it rearranged topics or changed pages, and checks with you before bigger changes. It’s folded until you open it. When it covers more than one place, each place’s lines are grouped under its name.
Things that wait on a decision in the workspace, like a page shared with the team, are under For you instead.
Topics were reorganized
Cranes reorganized your topics. Placed 3 new pages in Code review New topic: Incidents, with 2 new pages
Each line links to where things are now. Choose Undo to put the topics back as they were, or Dismiss. Only the latest reorganizing can be undone.
A suggestion to reorganize
Cranes suggests reorganizing your topics. Nothing changes until it’s applied. Merge Pricing into Deals Rename Hiring to Hiring bar
Choose Apply, or Not now, and Cranes won’t suggest reorganizing again for two weeks. If the topics have changed so much that the suggestion no longer fits, Cranes sets it aside and says so.
Some pages changed
Some pages changed as Cranes learned. Two pages became one: “…”
Pages may be combined, split, retired, or retitled. Each line opens the page where it is now. Your choices carry over. Choose Dismiss once you’ve seen it.
A choice with no clear home
Your pin on “…” has no clear home after the redraft.
A page you pinned, named, placed, highlighted, or shared was reshaped, and no single new page clearly carries your choice. If there’s a close match, Cranes names it: choose Apply it there. Otherwise choose Let go. For a shared page, the people you shared it with keep its last version until you decide.
A shared page your thinking moved on from
Your thinking moved on from “…”, which you shared.
Cranes retired a page you shared. Pick the page that continues it under Continue it in…, then Continue, and they’ll read that one from now on. Or choose Stop sharing.
Kept archived after a redraft
“…” stayed archived after the redraft because it carries what was in “…”, which you archived.
Choose Keep it archived or Restore.
Came back up
“…” came back up: new entries since you archived it support it.
It’s still archived. Choose Restore if you want it back.
A name that no longer fits
“…” has changed since you named it. Cranes would call it “…” now.
Choose Keep my title or Use Cranes’ title.
New pages in an archived topic
1 new page landed in …, which you archived. It’s still in use.
Archiving a topic doesn’t archive pages placed there later. Archive this one too if you like.
Members depart from an adopted page
Members’ work departs from “…”, which the team adopted, in 4 places.
For a team’s owners and admins. See Adopt a page as the team’s position. Choose Dismiss; you’ll hear again if more come.
In Everyone and groups
Everyone who reads a place sees when its topics were reorganized or its pages changed. Applying a suggestion or undoing is for those who can arrange the place: any member in a group, and owners and admins in Everyone.
