Highlight a passage
Mark the lines that matter to you, and hear when one of them changes.
- Select a few words or more within one paragraph of a page.
- Choose Highlight.
The passage is marked in yellow. Only you see your highlights, in any place, and Cranes never treats them as evidence.
To remove one, click the highlighted passage and choose Remove highlight.
When a highlighted passage changes
Highlights follow the text when a page is redrafted. If the passage you marked is rewritten or gone, the page lists it at the bottom under A passage you highlighted changed, with Cranes’ note on what changed. Choose Let go to clear it.
