Invite people to Cranes
Let someone in past the waitlist, with a few words of your own.
Anyone who uses Cranes can invite someone else. They skip the waitlist, and their book starts empty: inviting someone shares nothing of yours.
Send an invitation
- Open Settings › Invite people.
- Enter their email.
- If you like, add a few words (up to 280 characters). They appear on the invitation with your name.
- Choose Send invitation.
They get an email called {Your name} invited you to Cranes. Its button opens the invitation: a card that opens on an empty book, with your words above the form where they create their account.
Keep track of your invitations
Your invitations are listed under Invited on the same page, as Invited, Joined, or Link expired.
- Send again sends a fresh link that lasts another 14 days.
- Withdraw stops the link working. If they were waiting on the waitlist, they go back to waiting.
To bring someone into a team or a group, invite them from that team’s or group’s People instead.
