Connect Granola
Bring your meeting notes from Granola into Just me, a group, or Everyone, meeting by meeting.
Connecting Granola lets Cranes learn from your meetings. Anyone can connect their own Granola, in a personal or team workspace. Each meeting goes to one place, and a meeting reaches Everyone only when you choose it.
Set it up
- Open Settings › Connected Services and choose Connect on Granola.
- Choose Where meetings go.
- Choose Continue to Granola, sign in, and allow Cranes to read your notes.
Any Granola plan works. Cranes reads your meetings from the last 30 days that Granola shares, then new ones about every 15 minutes. It reads the last two days again, so notes Granola finishes later still come in.
Where each meeting goes
With Keep it where it clearly belongs, ask otherwise:
- Only you were there: Just me.
- Everyone there is exactly one of your groups, all its members and no one else: that group.
- Anything else waits for you, including a meeting with only some of a group, or with anyone from outside the workspace.
With Always ask me, every meeting waits.
Waiting meetings show on Home under Meetings to place. For each, choose the place and Keep, or Skip it so nothing from it is kept. Only you see them.
You can change Where meetings go on the Granola connection at any time. It applies to meetings that arrive afterwards.
What’s kept
- Granola’s summary of the meeting, marked as written by Granola’s AI, never as anyone’s own view.
- Your private notes from Granola, only when the meeting goes to Just me.
Transcripts aren’t brought in. When a meeting’s notes change in Granola, the newer version replaces the older one. In a group or Everyone, a meeting is learned from as soon as it arrives.
Disconnect
Open Granola in Settings › Connected Services and choose Remove Granola. Meetings already kept stay where they are.
