Point a thread at a chapter or part
Use About to tell replies which chapter or part you’re talking about.
About tells a thread what it’s about. Replies read that chapter or part closely, as the subject of the conversation. It doesn’t stop them drawing on the rest of your thinking.
Set it
In the box at the bottom of the threads list, About sits just above your message. In a thread, it’s in the thread’s bar. Choose it, then pick a part or chapter from the list.
You can set it before your first message or change it at any point. To clear it, choose Anything, or the × beside it.
It’s set for you when you start from a page
If you start a thread while reading a chapter or part, About is already set to it. That’s handy after reading something you want to push on: open a thread and just start talking.
About only applies to a chapter or part in the thinking the thread draws on. In a team workspace, if you pick one of the team’s chapters, set Draws on to include the team’s, or About won’t take. See Choose what a thread draws on.
