Meta Muse
What to try when adding Cranes to Meta Muse or Muse Code, which we haven’t been able to confirm yet.
What you get
Where Muse can add Cranes, it brings your thinking into a conversation when you ask, and saves to Cranes when you say so. We can’t yet confirm how Muse adds outside servers, so this page says only what we know.
Set up
Muse: if Muse offers a custom connector that takes a server address, paste https://usecranes.com/connect/mcp there and leave any key or client fields empty. If it doesn’t offer one, Cranes can’t connect to Muse yet.
Muse Code: if it lets you add MCP servers, add a remote server at the same address. See Any other AI that supports MCP.
Sign in
Muse sends you to Cranes. Check what it may use, choose whether to Keep my own ideas, and choose Allow.
If the sign-in page says This connection request is not valid, Muse didn’t finish registering with Cranes, or came back from a different address than it registered. Remove the connector and add it again. If it keeps happening, write to us with roughly when you tried.
What’s automatic, and when you ask
- Your thinking comes in when you ask. Type
@cranes, or ask what your thinking says. - Saving waits for your yes. Ask it to save something, or say yes when it offers.
